Programme:
A. PG Diploma Course of Associateship of National Sugar Institute (ANSI) in Sugar Technology
Minimum Qualifications: BSc with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering having secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate, provided that in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes minimum marks will be 40%.
B. PG Diploma Course of Associateship of National Sugar Institute (ANSI) in Sugar Engineering
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Production or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification. The candidates, who have appeared in the final examination of minimum prescribed qualification for ANSI (Sugar Engineering) courses, can also apply for admission.
C. PG Diploma Course in Industrial Fermentation and Alcohol Technology (DIFAT)
Minimum Qualification: BSc with Chemistry as one of the subjects and one year experience in a Distillery / Brewery on a technical post. Nomination from Distillery / Brewery is essential.
D. Certificate Course in Sugar Engineering (SECC)
Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Production or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Technology of a recognized technical school / college or Polytechnic. Nomination from a vacuum pan sugar factory is essential.
E. Certificate Course in Sugar Boiling (SBCC)
Minimum Qualification: Matriculate with Science / Agriculture and one season’s Sugar Boiling Experience in a Vacuum pan sugar factory. Nomination from a vacuum pan sugar factory is essential.
F. Pre Harvest Cane Maturity Survey Certificate Course
Minimum Qualification: Intermediate with Science / Agriculture or equivalent with two years’ experience in a sugar factory laboratory or fieldwork. Nomination from a vacuum pan sugar factory is essential.
G. Fellowship of National Sugar Institute (FNSI) By Research
I. FNSI in Sugar Technology &
II. FNSI in Sugar Chemistry
Minimum Qualification: ANSI in Sugar Technology.
III. FNSI in Sugar Engineering
Minimum Qualification: ANSI in Sugar Engineering.
IV. FNSI in Fermentation Technology
Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Industrial Fermentation and Alcohol Technology (DIFAT)
Age: 35 years as on July 31, 2011. Candidates born on or after July 31, 76 only are considered.
How to apply: Application form can be obtained from The National Sugar Institute, Kalianpur, Kanpur-208 017 against cash payment Of Rs.600/-(For SC / ST Rs.400/-) from April 01, 2011.
