Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) is a joint initiative of IRDA and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh established to impart professional training in the discipline of Insurance and Risk Management. IIRM offers highly reputed and valued diploma courses in various specialization in Insurance. The courses are designed to carve out skilled and talented man power to insurance and allied sectors. Following are details of courses offered by IIRM, Hyderabad for the academic year 2011-12:
1. The International Post Graduate Diploma in Life Insurance
2. The International Post Graduate Diploma in General Insurance
3. The International Post Graduate Diploma in Risk Management
Eligibility Requirements: Any Graduate including engineers with minimum 50 percent marks can apply. MBA, CA, ICWAI and CS qualification also acceptable. Those having PG qualification with 50 percent also eligible even if they secure less than 50 percent in Graduation. Those appearing for final year exams also eligible.
